Milton Keynes Development Partnership has appointed Muse to develop a masterplan for a major new neighbourhood across two sites east and west of Bletchley Station. Announced on 20 July 2026, the partnership will bring forward new homes, retail, community facilities and improved public spaces, creating a stronger connection between the station and Bletchley town centre.
The project forms part of wider regeneration ambitions under the Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Vision 2050, with MKDP leading placemaking on behalf of Milton Keynes City Council.
The appointment of Muse marks an important transition from regeneration ambition into active masterplanning and development. As plans for the new neighbourhood take shape, there is credible potential for place positioning, neighbourhood identity, consultation communications, destination storytelling and future residential marketing.
This is an early-stage inferred creative opportunity, not an announced agency brief. However, the scale of the development, its station gateway location and the council’s wider placemaking ambitions create a commercially relevant reason for agencies to engage before the scheme progresses further.
