Potts Partnership is scaling its distinctive canned stocks and cooking-sauce business through new retail listings, categories and product launches. The company sold more than 3 million cans during 2025, grew its workforce to more than 50 people and expanded its range with new curry and Italian sauces.
In 2026 that expansion has accelerated. Potts’ launched a new cooking-sauce partnership with Ocado in April, while a move into the sweet category saw dessert sauces launch nationally across 350 Morrisons stores. Commercial Director Ian Butt described the Morrisons launch as the beginning of a year containing further launches, with additional activity scheduled for summer 2026.
The company is also pursuing international growth. Potts’ has previously confirmed discussions with major retailers across Europe, the US and Australia as it looks to take its distinctive canned proposition overseas. Food and Drink Technology.
Potts’ has already completed the fundamental packaging innovation. Its move into aluminium cans began in 2019 and the packaging received a significant visual redesign in 2025, which was subsequently associated with double-digit sales growth in Tesco.
The current opportunity is therefore not another speculative packaging redesign. It is supporting a fast-growing independent FMCG brand as its existing identity stretches across new categories, SKUs, retailers and potentially international markets.
That creates credible potential for range architecture, NPD packaging, category extensions, retail launch creative, POS and shopper marketing, campaigns, content and international-market adaptations.
